U.S. Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester recently visited Tharros Village in Lewes, highlighting the organization’s innovative approach to transitional housing and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness.

At Tharros Village, we believe in something simple but powerful: this is a hand up for those who want to break the cycle of homelessness. It is not a handout.

That belief came to life again this week.

Eugene, a former guest at Tharros Village, stopped by to clear out the last of his belongings from our storage unit. It was a small moment, but one that marked something much bigger. A fresh start fully claimed.
